Meet Our Founder
Montoyria Jones
Founder & Executive Director | Community Advocate | Health & Wellness Leader
For over two decades, Montoyria Jones has been a powerful force in advocating for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) communities, channeling her journey of struggle and resilience into a mission of empowerment.
Her work is deeply rooted in lived experiences, growing up at times without utilities or necessities. These painful memories became the driving force behind her life's purpose: to uplift and empower others facing similar hardships.
The foundational programs she created at Stored Goodness include educational resources, a monthly food program, and financial assistance, all stemming from her struggles as a child. As she achieved success in adulthood, with multiple certifications and degrees, she found herself in a position of privilege—yet never forgetting where she came from.
Her leadership from her Tulsa Educare experience reflects her commitment to serving underserved populations. In her role as a teacher, she provided children with joyful, hands-on learning experiences that sparked curiosity, wonder, and growth. A staple she wanted others to experience.
Montoyria's expertise in chronic health management was honed during her time as a Chronic Care Manager, where she worked alongside nurses and doctors to oversee the care of Oklahomans living with diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and various behavioral health challenges, including anxiety, PTSD, postpartum depression, and other mental health concerns. Her career stands as a testament to her unwavering commitment to holistic well-being and her relentless dedication to bridging the gaps in healthcare access for underserved communities.
With an unwavering commitment to health equity, Montoyria continues to inspire change, challenge the status quo, and make a lasting impact in communities that need it most.
Through her work, she is not only transforming lives but also building a future where everyone—regardless of their background—has the opportunity to thrive.
